Oh boy... what a night/morning
So, I left Alex with DH last night to run some errands, and as I was on my way back home, stopped at a red light, out of nowhere, some chick smashes into the rear of my car. No braking, nothing. She was going full-speed ahead at about 40mph when she crashed into my car. I got out, noticed there was minimal damage to my car (you know what, I've never been a big fan of large cars, like the one I have but now I really appreciate that hunky Toyota Sequioa!) and I looked at her car and it was totaled. I mean TOTALED. The whole front of the car was crumpled up and stuck under my rear bumper All I can say is, THANK GOD Alex wasn't in the car with me! I said that several times to her (come on, I'm jewish, I have to play the guilt card! )
So I go home, with a sore neck, tidy up the house, and go to sleep. Wake up sore and running late. I'm in one of my favorite suits - pick up Alex to kiss her goodbye and she vomits alllllllll over me! I threw on a different sweater, discarded my jacket, and while I was sitting on the train I realized there's vomit all over my hair. So now every few seconds I'm getting wafts of vomit smell... mmmmmmmmm.... doesn't everyone LOVE the smell of puke in the morning?
It figures that I just found out one of the partners from the new firm is coming to our office today to meet with us. I'm sure I'll impress him with my pantsuit without the jacket, and the smell of vomit rising through the air

Re: Oh boy... what a night/morning
Ugh! How horrible! I had someone rearend me also about at week ago (and then he drove off when I was pulling over!!) and I saw in his rearview mirror that his hood was all crunched up -- but my car is fine. Just a little scratch on the bumper --- I have a smaller SUV -- Ford Escape -- but thank god! If I had a car I would have had damage to my car I'm sure!
I hope you get through your day smoothly --- so you can go home and take a good long shower!!
