Oh No-bedroom paint is too dark- WWYD??

I just painted my bedroom and the walls are too dark!!! I did BM Dill Weed and it's just so dark. I didnt want a Sage color but I don't want dark, it looks much darker on the walls. Im usually pretty good at picking colors but I really dont know here...

My bedding is light and there is no moulding up yet. The moulding will be white - you you think it will brighten up the room? part of me wants to live with it and see the room with window treatments, bedding, moulding, etc. but it would be a lot easier to repaint now with the room empty and bare.

What would you do? Also, if I do repaint, do you think going one shade lighter will make a difference? I like the color but it needs to be lighter.

Help!

Same here - especially in a bedroom.

I do think that once your moulding is up and your furnishings & bedding is in the room, it will "tone down".

when I put the paint up in our bathroom I freaked out!! I thought it was way too dark!!! But once we put up the white molding on the celing and floorboards it really lightened it up.

Plus, if you keep the bedding light, and the window treatments light, you'll be surprised at how bright the entire room really looks. A few paintings/pictures/prints on the wall can also change the overall look of the walls.

I have Dill Weed in my office and I don;t think its dark at all - I agree that you should dress it up up with lighter colors
