I use Main Street Fuel in Holbrook and have someone service my burner. This past heating season (for us from October through April) we spent approximately $700 - $800.

I use Petro and pay $180/month and that includes the service contract for a year.

we recently switched to Petro too... we had slomins last year... i dont remember our rate...

Lewis and we pay $2.64/gallon with free maintenance and repair on the burner and hot water heater.
ETA: We spent about $1000 this past winter.

I do COD w/ JC discount fuel, I pay around $1.90 p/gallon.
You can't really compare what people pay monthly because there are too many factors; size of home/age & condition of heating system.
Its better to figure out what people pay per gallon.
