Oil $$ related
so DH called Meenan...who we get our oil from to ask about rate and right now we are paying 2.84 (we are on the plan where if prices go up, ours goes up but if it goes down then our prices goes down...so currently it was smart) At the end of the month our contract is up so DH was calling other places....we found a place in Greenlawn that friends use and he is at $2.09.......
I'm so ANGRY at meenan right now...so DH called them back just now to let them know that "hey, listen we like you guys but we found another guy who is going to give us oil right now for $2.09 so at the end of this month while we prefer not to, we are going to close our account, so please don't come and fill our tank...unless you can work with us"
They just went "Ok" NOT even trying to keep us on as a customer (mind you we pay our bill on time every years, have a service contract with them)
IDIOTS!

The big oil companies are not going to try to compete with the smaller COD places. That's just the way it is.
