OK - another question - this time about finding applications on the education website...
I have looked all over the website - I have a TEACH account... I can't for the life of me find the aplpication for professional certificate - I searched everywhere - but when I go onto my TEACH account, it asks me to pay the 100 dollars, but I cant access the application...
I remember in the past having no problem finding the applications on the website - what is going on???

i just did this... there really isnt' an application. you just click the certifcate you want, and fill in the boxes with the certifcation area, etc. you pay the fee via credit card... this prompts them to review what they have on file for you (i.e. Masters, SAVE workshop, teaching experience etc.) you may have work to do on your end such as sending in transcripts, letter from district proving employment etc. if Albay doesn't already have this one file.... i had everything i needed and they just mailed it to me.
does this help?

I just went through this to get my second certification. If you call BOCES directly, they can tell you instantly what pieces of information you are missing.
You do need to be VERY pro-active about it, because the woman I spoke to said they are about 15 weeks behind in reviewing certifications, and if you are missing something, they won't discover it until that point, you have to get the info to them, and then wait again.
