Ok calling my stupid doctor today...

I called them yesterday and they told me to wait a week, and they would test my levels again? Wait a week??

I think that's crazy!

I went to the bathroom this morning and there was blood (red tissue, kind of brown a little too) little bit of it?

What the heck is that??

Sorry ladies I'm just nervous

I am sure they want you to wait a week to see if there is a drop in the levels. From what I remember in conversations with my Dr it can take longer for them to drop that it does for them to rise. I know this is probably the most difficult thing to do - to wait, but your doctors are doing what they need to do for you. Chat Icon

Is there a way to DEMAND to see someone in the office today?? I know when I had a miscarriage, I demanded that I saw someone...granted it ended up being a NP but it was someone who help to set things straight. I would call back and tell them what is going on...and explain what you are feeling and tell them you may need to have a d&c. Have they done a sono? I know they did 2 sonos on me and then determined that it was going naturally and didn't need a d&c. It is important to keep following up with them!!!

I am have to agree with Zeta.
You need to go in for a sonogram and bloodtest asap to see what is next.

I had a m/c last year and headed straight to the ER where things were checked.

My OB/GYN was contacted and I was in his office 1 or 2 days later checkig my levels to determine what needed to be done.

This is such a rough time for you, please take care of yourself and follow up. Chat Icon
