Ok do you think the storm they're predicting is going to hit

I went to walbaums to pick up a few things and everyone is buying the store out So my question iis, Are we really going to get hit as bad as they say? What do you think? I say it's going to be nothing maybe an inche or 2 everytime the exaggerate a strom is ends up being nothing, Its when they dont make a big deal we get hit. Ok carry on with your day i'm just babbling i'm bored.

somestimes they over predict..I hope not I hate snow.

People always go nuts before a big storm like we're going to get snowed in or something.

I bet we get an inch or two.

What cracks me up is, it's LI, the longest I ever remember being "snowed in" is like 2 or 3 days (back in the blizzard of '96).

Really? 2 or 3 days and you need to stock up like you'll be snowed in for weeks?


Although, VA is twice as bad... we may get an inch next week... watch out kids! We'll be out of school for a week!

I refuse to believe that there is going to be a big storm b/c we're having a bunch of our friends from college over to our house on Sunday. They are traveling from DE, NJ, the Bronx, etc., and I'm going to be really disappointed if they can't make it here.

I really do doubt that we'll get very much. They always exaggerate.

hope not- I have alot to do this weekend

but I will do it anyway- snow doesn't stop me- I will just take it slow- that's why I have a SUV

I hope not. We have tickets to Disney on Ice on Sunday and the kids are SO excited about it.

I hope we get more then they say. I love at least one really big storm.

I went to the supermarket and there was hardly anything left. I had to go to a different supermarket to buy chicken because it was wiped out.

I hope we get a decent amount. I have to work tomorrow, but I would love to be snowed in for the evening.

I can't help but chuckle at all these people that seem to go crazy whenever they say we are going to get a little bit of snow.

Call me when we get more than 12 inches. If it's less than that, no biggie. Life goes on and I won't be altering my plans for the day.

News12 just said 4-7" for most of the island. No big deal.

They're saying where I live up to 7 inches. I have sooooooo much to do that I wanted to do tomorrow before is born, and I keep having this feeling she is going to make an early appearance.

Normally, I'd go out, but once it snows it's very difficult to get in and out of my driveway which resembles a ski slope! Even with my SUV.

Tomrrow is my normal shopping day so I want to get there before the snow starts. Hopefully they will have things left. We went for the snowstorm of 1996 and we had to stand on a line wrapped around the entire store!! I have gone out after a snow just to get out of the house and think I was the only customer in the store-it was GREAT!!

even that isn't a huge big deal.... they work on the roads constantly- it's only digging out the car that's annoying.

I don't even dig my car out. I put my truck in 4 wheel drive and hit the gas.

The last thing I heard was 6-10 inches. I hope we get that much I love playing with my dogs in the snow!!
