ok great--day three of a high fever
As soon as Jake's motrin wears off up goes the fever...No cold no nothing else--just 102 at the very least..maybe higher--he doesn't exactly like a thing up his butt.
One day Spring will be here.

You know what...I remember the twins having something like this once. They were 3...all it was was basically a fever for like a week. They were with their father b/c I was attending a funeral out of state so I dont remember specifics but I remember him taking them to the doctor and the doctor telling him that it was going around and just to treat the fever.
I know that's not very helpful...But Im sure all is fine.

no it is helpful--and thats what I am going to do, I am not taking him and exposing him to more in the waiting room-and dragging Max who is fine..(I dk how)
I am just treating the fever..if Max gets it I am not promising not jumping though.

Just something to look out for...My DD has something like that last year. She had high fever 102-105 for 3 days, poof fever broke, and out came the rash. It was the roseola virus.
She had no other symptoms, no stuffy nose, no cough, just a high fever, then the rash.
the rash isn't contagious though, it looks worse than it is.

Hope Jake feels better soon. JAG has a bug and right now I am listening to him on the monitor..he coughs, a pathetic little baby cough, and then says utohhhh.
SO sad (and cute) and hope our little guys get soon fast enough!

I feel your pain - we are on day four of 103.5. Actually, the fever broke with the Motrin yesterday afternoon and DS did not have a fever this morning so maybe it was three day thing. I"m hoping so anyways. I took him to the DR to rule out ear infection and strep throat though.
