ok, I feel dumb, but what exactly is a "whole chicken breast, halved"?

I know it might sound stupid, but I'm sure exactly what that means. I bought boneless chicken breasts, but how do I cut them in half? Down the middle so they are in two big chunks? Or sliced the long way so they are two thin cutlets? I guess it should be obvious since the recipe doesn't specify, but I have no idea! Chat Icon Help!

That probably already is halved. A whole chicken breast is both sides. You usually see that with the bone still in it.

I didn't want to just post pictures of raw chicken b/c that grosses some people out.
