O.K., I feel like a total loser... so please help me.
I have been on this site for about 3 years **I think*** and still cannot post a picture.
Every time I try, it says image to large.
Please tell me step, by step, in terms that a child can understand how to do it.
Thanks,

You know what? I can't doit to save my arse either!!! It's just one of those things my brain can't get......usually I only post pix from an internet source so I can copy the properties and insert a a web image.....
So....I guess that would make me of absolutely no help to you huh?

I think this is the best way to do it, if you resize and put it as an attachment then you can only put 4 pics per post

Re: O.K., I feel like a total loser... so please help me.
This is what I do ...
I upload any pictures I want to post to my Photo Album on here. ( create one if you dont have one)
Then I just right click on the picture right from my photo album ( open a new browser is easiest) and COPY the properties part.
Start a thread...and in the post click on the left side of the page under the emoticons " Insert WEB Image" .
When the text box pops up. Click paste and then OK and the image is now embedded in your post. This way you can put as many photos as you want all in one post.
HTH and makes sense.

That's what I do. I download to photobucket and then copy and paste the link into a post.

I use photobucket as well.
And if there is ever a time I decide I don't want Ryan's pics up anymore. Instead of having to search all my posts and edit to remove. I just delete from photobucket and wallah...gone!

I do the same for the same reason. Photobucket also makes it so easy.

Re: O.K., I feel like a total loser... so please help me.
I put them into my album here first. LIF does have the image resizer, though. I believe that it gives instructions for uploading a picture, then LIF e-mails you a smaller file size that you can post.

I just upload in my photo album. Then I open the pic in my LIF album, right click, click on properties, hightlight the URL and copy. Go to my post, "insert web image", paste and "OK".

I download to shutterfly or facebook, cut and paste properties, and then select insert web image, pasting properties in there... voila!

This is what I do also...
Just to add, click on the properties of the large picture , not the small one ( not the ones that are in a row, if you can get what I'm saying )Click the pic you want, it will become big, then right click...
And it definately helps to keep a seperate open window, so that you can just jump back and forth if you want to post more than one photo
