ok i finished watching orange is the new black (spoiler alert)
HOLY CRAP!! i did NOT expect piper to beat the life out of pennsatucky... i'm assuming she's dead now which i cant wait to see what happens with piper's sentence!!
i REALLY hope piper doesnt end up marrying her fiance -- i love the back and forth between him and her and then piper and alex... i think its interesting
pornstache is so gross i cant even lol i'm excited to see how that whole thing plays out in addition to diaz and her baby!!!!
i looked it up again online & now they are saying spring 2014 for season 2. i dont know how i'm going to handle only watching one episode at a time lol

Wasn't the finale insane? I was not expecting Piper to beat the crap out of Pensatucky....but I'm so glad that she did!! I was assuming she was dead, but then I heard that she signed on for season 2 so who knows.
I can't wait for the next season!

 This show is so so good. We watched the whole season in about a week. The finale was insane. I'm excited to see what they do. Is it spring yet??
Oh and by the way, I always call that character Punksatony Phil because I can never remember how it's actually pronounced

Did you see him on SVU?
I NEVER watch that show and I happened to be flipping and saw him.
What a creep!
I don't think Piper killed Pennsawtucky b/c then she'd be off to a maximum facility or something. I think she took all of her anger on the situation out on her.
Love this show - hopefully it's going to be sooner than later.
I love the casting and was happy to see Lea DeLaria as Big Boo. I have seen her sing and she is fantastic.

Could be flashbacks, but I doubt it. She'd be in for some REAL sh!t if she killed Pensatucky. But she beat her within an inch of her life. I was really surprised by Officer Healy looking the other way. I know she dissed him by telling the warden about him calling her husband, but that was way out of line, too. He's got some crazy asss lesbian crusade going on.
I actually HATE Piper and Alex's relationship. Maybe I just hate Alex- and I don't just mean her, I mean the chick who plays her. I can't stand her for some reason! lol! And I'm really shocked that the author, the real Piper, let that go on. In the book, Alex was only in jail with her for a short time and they never hooked up.
I can't wait to see where they go next season though- the finale was INSANE!

WOW! He looks completely different without the stache- so much better. I don't get his character. He's crazy pants, but I don't know if he's serious about the chick he "knocked up" or not yet. Like he seems to really like her in his crazy effed up way, but I'm not sure if it's an act or what.

And freaking Healy just turned on his heel and was like "whatev". Ugh between pornstache and him, I have had enough of the guards' Shennanigans.
I love Bennett and Daya's love story. I can't wait to see how it plays out. I think she got a real jolt when she realized that her little scheme was too hood for Bennett's taste- Maybe she'll actually be somewhat rehabilitated by prison.
Is Morello's "christopher" real, or is he really a made-up fiance?

You don't have to watch one episode at a time, Netflix releases their original series all in one shot so you can binge watch to your hearts content. Every episode is available right away.

Love this show! I watched the entire season in 2 days...lol (I mean it was when we were stuck inside because of snow, and freezing temps)
I just don't understand why Healy hates Piper so much... I know he is very anti lesbian BUT I feel like that hatred spun even before she was hooking up with Alex....

Agreed. Completely different. I really enjoyed it, but I read it before I watched the show. I think if you watch the show then read the book, you'll be let down. It's FAR more tame than the show.

I think he kind of expected her to be on the same page as him- nice white girl, with a fiancee, from a wealthy family, etc. But she gave him 'tude the whole time (deserved or not) and then told the warden that he called her husband to tell him about her sleeping with Alex and got him in trouble.
ETA: Didn't Pornstache step in to try and stop him from throwing Piper in solitary? I mean, it's bad when Pornstache has better morals than you.

I liked the book a lot....but was OBSESSIVE about the show when I watched it last summer!
The book is excellent but VERY different from the show
