Ok I may be a little nutso tonight

My MIL is here for my DS's Christening tomorrow, and she always needs to hold him when he's sleeping. I say to myself, yeah but she doesn't see him often so I'll let her do it.

Well it's driving me CRAZY. I had to leave the living room. Like a sort of "jealousy" but more like a "overprotectiveness" feeling. I don't know.

She's full of it too because she could have seen him all day because she came in yesterday but preferred to hang out in the city by herself all day.

You did the right thing - just leave the room. Next time, just try not to give her the opportunity.

This happened to me today as well.
DS is not feeling too good today. I ran to CVS to pick up a few things and when I got back, he was sound asleep on DH's chest. I was so happy because DH really only gets to spend most of his time with him on the weekends.
Anyway, I looked over and just stared. I wanted DS back. I went into the kitchen and did some cleaning up.
I know I shouldn't feel that way, I mean, It's DH. For some reason it ate away at me a little.
