Ok, I need to ask... Bloomberg's commercial...
I'm not a city teacher, but his new campaign commercial about how he single handedly fixed NYC schools makes me CRAZY.  I can't imagine how I'd feel if I actually taught in the city. Am I the only one?

no. i take offense to it. especially since i know why those test scores are miraculously improving.... although, i do feel as though his policies are partly responsible for making schools safer.

That commercial drives me insane. Ummm when is the last time he actually stepped into a classroom? Also not for anything but HE didn't make the numbers go up! The teachers working their a$$es off did. (Or the "creative" math did for those that fear for their jobs if their passing rates weren't up to par.)

He didn't fix ANYTHING with regard to the education system of NYC. Who is he kidding?!

that commercial is disgusting. the test scores were so high this year it's a joke. it really angers me that people outside the system may believe those ads.

I had a student who can't form completely sentences, has the vocabulary of someone 5 grades below him, and absolutely NO grammar skills.... And he got a 3 on the ELA
