Ok Im really trying this time to be careful and on the money
I bought an OPT and monitoring my LH surge . It has been 11 days since my period and I get AF every 31-32 days, so according to the chart I should be ovulating around the 14th day which would be this saturday. Is this when my test and reference line should be an equal dark purple line? Or is this when Im ovulating? I didnt realize how hard this really is! Its like science! thanks

Hmm..I would think a cycle length like that would be a few days past day 14. I usually have 28 day cycles and I usually O on day 14...but it can change..for example this month I got a positive on day 17 so I O'd day 18 or 19.
Your counting day one of your period and day one of your cycle right?
I would start testing at day 12 or 13 and then you compare. If you have at least 7 opks..that will take you till day 18. If you dont get a positive surge by then, keep going.
I "thought" I had one on cycle day 13 this month, thank goodness I later thought ti really wasnt darker, my actual one came a few days later.
And yes, it will be darker the test line, you should be able to kinda see that right away or at least as dark.

Honestly, if you have enough of them, I'd start around CD7 just to be sure you're not testing too late -- bc you never know! I did that one month, never got an LH surge, and it's bc I started testing too late in my cycle. GL!

Yup started counting day 1 of when AF arrived, is that what you mean?

thank you so much!!! I started to test about 5 days ago just to see and then did it again yesterday and same result, so I dont think I missed the LH surge- I hope not, it would be too soon , no? I will do it again tomorrow- oh who am I kidding I'll prob do it later!

 You sound like me now. I'd much prefer to POAS for a few extra days rather than kill an entire month! GL!
BTW, never take advice re: POAS (HPT or OPK) from me because I need to go to POASAA (Pee On A Stick Addict's Anonymous)
