OK, Magical LIF ladies - my grandma needs you!
Hi Everyone!!!
If you can spare some prayers, my grandmother could really use them now.
She has been going through chemo for about a month or so (maybe more). she lost all of her hair, and still always said how terrific she felt. She put on a great wig, and carried on with her busy social life and her adorable boyfriend. She is a very active woman - beautiful, fit, athletic, and nothing ever slowed her down - including this.
She also has had lymphedema for years, and again, did what she had to do, wore her stockings, played tennis, and did everything despite the pain she would feel from it.
But something with the chemo AND lymphedema isn't working for her, and she developed an infection in her leg. She has an open wound from it, and is having trouble walking. She has to go to the doctor everyday for checkups and bloodwork. This is the first time in her life that she doesn't sound her upbeat, "I can handle anything" self. And she lost a son 15 years ago, and her husband 5 years ago.
So, please pray for my grandma. She isn't your average "old" type of grandma. She is a remarkably beautiful 85 year old woman, and a greatgrandma, who I am convinced will live until she is 100, or older.

I know what you mean about a "young 85".
My neighbor is 94 years old and swims everyday, skiiing in Eurpoe....she's amazing.
Are they doing hyperbaric treatments on the wound?
