Re: OK Moms - admission time

It's a tie between bath time (she HATES getting her hair washed) and changing her diaper. Seriously, she would rather sit in her own poop then have me change her. (but I guess that doesn't really count as a chore.

Re: OK Moms - admission time

I totally don't mind the laundry, folding/putting away clothes, bottles, changing crib sheets, baths......

What I CANNOT stand, as many PPs have said.....NAIL CUTTING (fingers & toes)! It's such a hassle to do!! I long for the days when I could do it while he was asleep.

DS (he's almost 4): bedtime, it just takes forever, and he wants a zillion books read to him and he's up and out of his bed so much!

DD (she's almost 2): seems to be everything these days. She's fiercely independant and wants to do everything herself. I don't have the patience for that Chat Icon

Re: OK Moms - admission time

Changing the crib sheet definitely... way too much energy involved in that.

And clipping her nails. I made her bleed once and since then I'm afraid. Chat Icon

Bedtime, bathtime and brushing teeth. I have not been blessed with children who sleep it takes an hour for them to fall asleep just for them to wake up 4 hours later.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I hated anything that had to do with bottles; cleaning them, assembling them, mixing bm and formula and rice like a chemistry experiment.

The only thing really is changing stinky poopy diapers (mainly b/c I have a bad gag reflex).

Before we had a dishwasher, definitely the bottles.

Now, changing the garbage bag inside the diaper champ. Ugh.

PSA For those of you who struggle with the crib sheet... ever since I changed to the breathable bumpers, its not nearly as difficult anymore!!!

Re: OK Moms - admission time

Hate cleaning the bottles

Bathtime is exhausting now since he is so heavy to lift out of the bathtub.

Changing him is really difficult now too - the second is he is on the changing table he flips onto his belly Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: OK Moms - admission time

Cutting his nails and changing poopy diapers when he's in that mood - you know - the cranky mood and he just wriggles all over the place....

I love his bath time!!! Chat Icon

Re: OK Moms - admission time

cutting nails, brushing teeth, cleaning up her hands and mouth after meals. All of the above will incite earpiercing screams, plus the words "MOMMMMMIIIEEEE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" at the top of her lungs while her arms are flopping around. Then, while her arms flop around I inadvertently get hit int the face. So yeah, not loving these things right now. Chat Icon
