Ok, so now we get this ball rolling...
I get my rx for Clomid tomorrow, then on to our first IUI (if I don't overstimulate--that's what he said) when I O next.
I really DO want to kick infertility in the nutz....who's with me.
It's been asked before, but what can I expect on Clomid?

I had hot flashes as well, mostly at night I would wake up sweating. Also slightly moody. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be!!
I am so ready to kick infertility in the azz as well!! Good Luck!!!

Re: Ok, so now we get this ball rolling...
I just finished my first round of Clomid and I'm waiting to Ovulate (currently on CD15, and still getting negative OPK's)
I'm such a baby about meds and side effects and I had nothing until my last day when I experienced Hot Flashes. Those lasted a couple of days and now that I'm done with the Clomid and the other Estrogen pills, I'm feeling fine. Other than anxious because I just want to O already!

Re: Ok, so now we get this ball rolling...
I had very mild hot flashes and some headaches...I found it best to take the Clomid at night before I went to bed in order to experience the least side effects. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Ok, so now we get this ball rolling...
I think most people tolerate it well - I had some serious anxiety and depression-like symptoms. But I think I am in the minority. I did take it for three months though so while it was bad, I was able to "tolerate" it - the last month I decided I couldn't do it again. Again, most people are fine on it and I'm in the minority. Best of luck!

Hot flashes from the first dosage.
Starting my 2nd month of Clomid I had extreme emotional swings. (although I'm prone to them anyway!!)
Let's hope one month is all it takes!!!

Re: Ok, so now we get this ball rolling...
I didn't have a great time on Clomid at all. It's a long story and really boring, so I won't go into it, but it gave me a very upset stomach, which RE told me was unusual. Good luck I am sure you'll be fine!
