ok, updated with another color..much better right???
At first when we painted it, it looked good. I stand in the room now and I think...."school lunchroom". It also hurts my eyes. This is not the paint that I picked out from the swatch.
I think I really wanted a goldish-mustardy color...
Anyone have a recommendation for a nice goldish/mustard/yellow color?

This color that I was supposted to get is called buttercream...it's more like lemon to me...

Would you consider a wash over it to darken it a little? Instead of painting over it.

I wouldn't even know where to start with that. I think DH just wants to get another gallon of paint and redo it.

I used BM 1100 - it's a mustard color and we LOVE it. It's bright enough on rainy days and perfect on sunny days.

We used BM Dijon in our kitchen. This is while the work was being done but you can see the paint color a bit....

maybe once you hang up some pictures it will tone it down.. When i painted my room at first it was yikes avocado green and witha brown rug.. i thought all i need is orange and i got the 70's in here.. then once we started putting furniture in room and pictures.. it toned it down alot and now love it.

Our bedroom is BM Chestertown Buff & I think it is a good combo of goldish/yellow

I know many people on here think BM is the way to go, but honestly, I've used it in other rooms, and still love the Behr paint the best, so here's our bedroom. It's Behr Winter Wheat.

I used Behr Dijon Gold in my master bedroom in my townhouse, I loved it. It was always warm never too bright.
I have Wilmington Tan (BM) in our master now, it has gold tones without being yellow.
