If mousing over a hyperlink is that intensive on your computer, you should have that checked out. Because your computer is totally f*cked. 
I don't find them that hard to avoid, maybe it's because I've trained myself to keep my cursor to the right side because of sites like Newsday and others that have those huge mouse over ads.
I'm on a work computer with security and pop-up blockers. It's not the computer itself, it's the programs my workplace has installed.
And I agree - I'll keep my cursor to the left.
You were asking us to click on links to help them, etc. That's a problem for me on this computer.
And I was saying that just because I don't click on them doesn't mean I don't care.

But that would probably cause more trouble if you're incognito.
I have AVG antivirus, AVG antispyware, and the built in pop up blocker in IE. You probably can't change that stuff though right?

Now that I know my home computer doesn't have ANOTHER trojan (just had my computer completely wiped last week) I don't mind.
But I was very nervous this morning when I couldn't get the pop up to go away! I didn't realize my mouse was still hovering over the hyperlink.

I've seen other sites and they have so many pop ups, banner ads, etc. there is barely any room for the posts. I get a headache trying to navigate through them and just give up.
Then again, I have Firefox and can't see the hyperlinks... at least for now.

I think if we had gotten an FM about the change, I wouldn't have disabled it. But not knowing what it was, I didn't want to take any chances.

I just think there would have been less panic, and more acceptance if there was a Pinned announcement about this happening. Most of the threads I've read about the hyperlinks start out with everyone paranoid about viruses and spyware, but once they find out why it's there, and what it's for, they are OK with it. That's my only complaint. Just a little heads-up. I'm never going to complain because someone wants to get paid for services rendered. It's only fair.
