ok... you wanna hear something weird??
Soooo... we were not trying this past cycle. In fact I've been EAGERLY awaiting AF to arrive so that we CAN start trying 
We did not BD anytime on or before my regular time of ovulation. We DID BD however 2 days AFTER and woops - didn't use protection. I still find it hard to believe that i would get pregnant UNLESS my ovulation date has moved. So I've been really good with not reading into any "symptoms" this month and just waiting for AF.
WELLLL - on Thursday I got sooo sick. Horrible horrible pain in my stomach. Just wanted to throw up, but couldn't. I also had a lot of sharp pains in my lower abdomen. This made me suspicious so I tested the following morning, but it was definitely a BFN. So I moved on.
All the next day I was peeing constantly (weird for me) and still in pain. I left work and went to the doctor. He thought that I might have a bladder infection which is normal and gave me some medication for it (which is safe for TTC). As soon as I started taking the medication I've been perrrrfect!! (yay!)
3 days later AF has still not arrived. And now it's a day late (which is NOT normal for me). I decided to test AGAIN this morning and... I don't know... there was the faintest line on that test! I have to hold it under a light, but it's there (DH can't see it at all though, but he's also half asleep. lol)
I have very slight AF cramps which feels like it's still coming and no other symptoms. Last time i got a BFP my boobs were HUGE and kinda soar. Not this time. So maybe it's an evaporation line????
I'm really ok with not being pregnant, because it's only a couple weeks until we start trying. But of course it would be great if I was. I just want to KNOW.
I'll test again tomorrow morning... and wait for AF to arrive as well. I just wanted to share the weirdness I'm experiencing this morning.

what meds did they put you on...did you read my post on UTI meds???? Both the sulfer and the Nitro whatever is not good...be careful...

no, I didn't read your other post. He put me on Cephalexin which he said was safe for TTC or if I was already pregnant (which i was a bit suspicious of). I can't find what is IN it though so I'm really not sure if there's any sulfer or nitro  I guess after I test again, if I DO end up with a clear BFP, then I'll stop taking it just in case.

It def could be a positive test....they say a line is a line. When i got my bfp in the summer..it started as a faint line.
Those symptoms sound like you could be pregnant.

What test did you use? I have heard everyone on here say "a line is a line" so it sounds to me like a BFP!!

UTI meds and birth defects
Not to scare you but read this...i take them all the time preventitivly and before my doc told me its fine...but when I saw this new study I called my doc and he told me to stop taking it...just look into it....this scared me when I read it

that DOES scare me because I can't find out what is IN these pills. All i found was that this antibiotic is classified as safe for pregnancy, but was only tested with pregnant animals (in which cases the fetus' were fine). So I'm not sure. Maybe i should just stop taking it? Not sure.

Alrighty... so for those of you who asked - AF was due yesterday (Sunday). I very rarely am late, but it HAS happened. Never more than by 2 days though. I took another test when I got home on my lunch break and another faint line appeared. Hmmmm....
I think I need digital
I'm still a bit skeptical though. I read that certain medications can give you a false positive if it has any hCG in it. So I'm trying to find out if what I'm taking has any of that.

I don't have any in the house, so what I might do is just test with the same brand tomorrow morning (to see if the line gets any darker) and then get a digital for Wednesday morning.

Sorry to crash - there are no meds that have hcg in them that you would be taking unless you are seeing a doctor for IF!

thanks for that info!! I was reading on false positives that's the one that struck me the most. Mostly because i DID test just on Saturday and got a very clear BFN, then I started taking the medication and when I tested again on Monday, there was a faint line. I got curious if the antibiotics had anything to do with it. But i guess not since AF has still yet to arrive!

Nothing new other than what I posted this morning. Got another line on my 3rd HPT, but I still haven't taken a digital. I will tomorrow morning (if I can hold out till then. lol) and I will definitely update ya'll ASAP!!!
