Okay, I'm I'm a bit concerned... re:FLU
So we were at SIL andBIL's house on Christmas Day and were with them Christmas Eve, and now BIL has the flu. DD got her flu shot on the 7th of December, the first half... will that cover her? As for DH and I, we got ours on the 17th... I'm hoping we're covered as well... I heard something about a 2-3 week period that it takes for the flu shot to be effective? The last thing we need right now is a teething 8 month old with the flu, or for either of us to get it... I feel terrible for SIL cause she's 7 months pregnant and didn't get the flu shot... neither did BIL... I hope that she doesnt catch it from him...

Re: Okay, I'm I'm a bit concerned... re:FLU
According to the CDC:
About 2 weeks after vaccination, antibodies that provide protection against influenza virus infection develop in the body.
So, DC should be fine, and you and DH will hopefully have at least some antibodies, or you get lucky and didn't catch anything...
