Okay, it's now my turn with feeding issues
I am sure some of it is my own fault b/c I get lazy and cannot think of new things.
Troy has always been a very good eater, and ate EVERYTHING. But recently, in the past 2 weeks, he's been eating less and getting more picky. He also started a new thing, spitting out food- not projectile, but just letting the food ooze out of his mouth.
Troy did very well with table foods, but now-he'll take 2 maybe 3 bites and not eat anymore. It frustrates me b/c I know he's hungry. Also, it ends up wasting food b/c I prepare a bowl and feed him from there and he barely eats any.
I've regressed to buying baby food, as it's easier for me and I know he'll eat it.
I also am not sure what to fix for him to eat. I like to cook, but it's challenging now as I am trying to pack, so our apt is a mess.
Sorry to vent, but I am not sure what to do.

hey jill. try to see if there is a pattern in what he wants and doesn't want to eat. maybe he prefers 1 texture to another now? has he gotten his molars yet? maybe they are bothering him? has he been sleeping differently b/c he isn't eating as much?
hang in there, i know how tough it is.

I give Thomas the same things to eat too, so I don't have any new ideas, but one thing you could try are the Gerber Graduates Lil Meal tubs. Thomas loves those. The chicken stew and turkey stew have a lot of veggies in them and that's the only way I can get Thomas to eat veggies. He spits them out otherwise like Troy is doing (oozing out of his mouth)!
Good luck!

Re: Okay, it's now my turn with feeding issues
Thanks Michele and Christine- I forgot to add, he used to LOVE the Gerber Graduates lil sides, Sweet Potatoes w/ carrots, now he'll eat maybe 2-3 baby spoonfuls and that is such a waste.
I've tried the Gerber Turkey stew w/ rice and he likes it, but I have to split it into 2 meals as he can't/won't eat the whole thing.
I can see his molars, nothing has broken thru the skin, though on of his bottom front teeth has. No change (thankfully) in his sleep, though he has woken early 2 times in the past week (4:30am once and 5:45am once).
I just feel like I am neglecting b/c I am not "forcing" him to eat. I try so hard not to get frustrated.
