Okay, narrowing down the anniversary gift choices
So I think now it is a toss up between a dinner and theatre package, a dinner and Lincoln Center package, or a GC for BandBfinder.com and they can choose from a bunch of B&B's countrywide
What do you see as a better 40th anniversary gift for a couple in their mid-60's?

I think it depends on the couple. Do they lke the theater? THen Broadway. Do they like opera/ballet? Then Lincoln Center. Do they like to travel? Then a weekend away.

This is the tough part. My parents are pretty low-key people. They won't do any of these things unless given a gift to do so. And when they do it, they enjoy themselves. They just don't do a lot. I just want to give them something special

Broadway! They like music etc. It feels like a real night on the town. They would probably have a fun and memorable time!
Happy 40th to them

If it were my parents, I'd do the Broadway thing. In fact, for their 30th a few years ago, my sister and I and DHs did that plus a night at the Waldorf on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so they could go to the parade.
