I have gotten soooooooo many FM's about this. so I thought I'd make a thread:

Here's how to play your Nintendo Gamecube games on your Nintendo Wii:

Step #1:

Fold down the two hinged areas on the left side of your Wii console.

Step #2:

If you have a WIRELESS Gamecube controller, plug the rectangular plug in the first hole on the right side of the Wii console (see pic):

Step #3:
If you have regular Gamecube controllers (with the wires) they get plugged in the holes from the right, to the left. There are 4 holes. We only have 2 controllers, so we use the first 2 holes (from the right). See pic:

Step #4:
Plug in the little memory card from the Gamecube into the top left slot on the Wii console (pic is dark):

Card is plugged into top left slot, can't see it...too dark:

Step #5:
Plug in microphone (if you have it) right below memory card:

Step #6:
Turn on your Wii.
(That sounded dirty...lol)

Step #7:

To play your Gamecube game on the Wii, you have to click the icon on your screen with your Wii controller...just to load the game.

Then you are set. You play your Gamecube games regularly...with those controllers. You don't use the Wii controllers again until you want to load a different game.

I am bringing my son to religion now, so if you have any questions, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Have fun!
