Ok...I don't want to spend $1,000's....where can I get nice bedding for a reasonable price??

Dh and I just bought a kind bed. I need to buy an entire bedding collection for the bed, but I don't know where to go. All I know is that we got a Queen Ralph Lauren set from our registry and it was soooooooooo expensive. I would never buy it myself, that's why it was on my registry.

Anyway, DH has really sensitive skin (poor baby) and can't have cheap sheets. Also, my parents were telling me that we will die with a polyester comforter. So, guess what? That means we are going to end up spending more than we wanted to for higher quality, but I don't want to spend A LOT.

We like clean, modern looks...nothing crazy or too flowery. Don't you think even Macy's can get expensive for this kind of thing? I've checked out BB&B and their selection isn't that great.

Any ideas? TIA!

Bed bath and beyond- use the 20% off coupons

or linens and things- 20% coupons- plus they are having a HUGE sale right now- I just got a queen sheet set and extra pillow cases for $55 - that was less then half price

I got a great comforter at home goods-
that came with shams and a dust ruffle for $90

so I just got all new bedding- for less then $150!!!!!!

I got my duvet and shams from www.Zgallerie.com and I got two sets of sheets - one of from BBB, thier Hotel Collection which are awesome and one set from Overstock which are on the way to me. King sets are so much!! I would also try to hit some outlets.

I am partial to Calvin Klein bedding. it's very high quality, soft and has a modern style. Sometimes Macy's has CK sets on sale, but they're still not cheap by any means.

I have had some luck getting stuff on eBay.

JCPenney has GREATstuff for bedding. They have very low thread counts and VERY high thread counts. They also have a variety of cottons [egyptian, sateen, combed, etc..] often they have sales....and granted it's months away, but every february they have HUGE sales b/c they are hoping all the people who get tax refunds will come buy bedding. I get some amazing stuff there and it is always great quality.
