OKKK, another 09 mommy, gonna be 2010 mommy too!!!
we just found out this week! i dont even know where to begin. Im so nervous, i cant imagine 2 babies under 2 (well in my case, under a year and a half even  )
ladies, before i reveal, any BTDT mommies have ANY advice for me?
Im so nervous about how im going to pay attention to 2 of them the same amount, or how im EVER going to leave the house again  ...
i want to be excited, but im so afraid that im out of my league.
any help?

Not me, but my BFF has two little men under 18 months and the adjustment hasn't been horrible! She gets out everyday in fact!!

Mine are just about 17 months apart. The very beginning is overwhelming, but just like how overwhelming it is being a first time mommy,you eventually establish a routine.
I absolutely LOVED being a 2 under 2 mommy!

16 months apart here!
First three months were VERY hard.
3-6 months hard.
6 months on- totally manageable and LOTS of fun- definitely worth it to have them close together.
I love watching them play and interact!

ITA!!! My 2 were 18 months apart and the beginning was rough, but every month it did get easier. Once you get out of the house a couple of times it becomes 2nd nature. It's not bad at all. I'm so happy we have 2 DC so close together. They really enjoy each other

My girls are 14 months apart! I love it. I wouldn't change a thing. I never had a tough time with them being so close. From day 1 my second DD fit right in to our routine.
I love it so much that I wish I could already have another baby but money wise its not possible right now for us.

thanks ladies!! ill come out in time I just need to take this all in, and make sure things are good. I really would love it though, if someone would ease my mind alittle bit, and post their "schedule". Without completely giving myself up, I will say that my dc's will be between 12-15 months apart. Please make me see Im not going to want to cry every day

what kind of schedule are you looking for? In the beginning, as you probably remember, there is no schedule with a newborn so it's really exhausting, but depending on your DC with time you'll get into a routine and a schedule.
I promise you its worth it and you will get through it. It's all about routine. My DS (the second child) had no choice but to go on DD's schedule. It was just easier that way.
The 1st year FLEW by. I can't believe my baby is 1 already. Does it make you feel any better if I said I'd do it again if I could?? (I can't for medical reasons.)
Don't cry or stress about it. It's a blessing and your DC will LOVE each other. As hard as it is, it has soooo many positives. You'll be ok!!!
For me my biggest worry was taking away one on one time with DD. There was an adjustment period for us, but it was shortlived and I don't think she even remembers being the "only" child now. She loves her brother (although they do fight) and I know in my heart I gave her the best gift in the world

My 2 are 19 months apart, and honestly, if I could take another leave from work so soon, I would totally be pregnant again! My 2nd DD is easy going, and really doesn't demand a lot of attention, so it was an easy transition from 1 to 2 for us. The sleep deprivation was hard in the beginning, because honestly, there was no napping during the day with 2 little ones who never napped at the same time. My husband was and still is great about helping out with the girls anytime I need it, especially at night when I am exhausted! The first 6 weeks were the toughest, and it got so much easier from there! Good luck!

my 2 are 16 months apart....don't worry you will be fine!!!!! you're so in the routine from your first that you will be fine with your second!!!! congrats hon and don't worry....everything always works out!!!!!

DS was 11 months old when i found out i was PG. My boys are 19 months apart. The first 3 months were rough, but its getting easier. Alex is 4 months today, he has been a great baby since day 1. You just have to take help whenever you can get it and remember that it does get easier.

I also have 2 under 2 (they are 23 months apart). The first few weeks of sleeplessness with a rambunctious toddler was really the hardest part for me. I did occasionally feel torn when they both needed me but I just explained to the older that I had to take care of the baby if it was something that couldn't wait. I made sure to spend a lot of quality time with my older one too though so he didn't feel like he was being "replaced". I also try to include him when I am doing stuff with the baby so he is my big helper.
My older DS has been WONDERFUL since the beginning and just adores his little brother. The best part of them being so close is that my older will only remember having a brother around and they will be very close growing up.

No advice-I have the same concerns and mine will be over 2 years apart so I can only imagine how overwhelming this will be-however, it will be fantastic and you will figure everything out!

No advice... just wanted to say Congrats and wow - you work fast!
I am sure like everyone else said... just prepare yourself for the sleep deprivation in the beginning. After you get through that, it will be smooth sailing!!! :) For me, with one, the sleep deprivation was the BIGGEST adjustment to being a Mom. Everything else seemed to feel / come naturally.
Congratulations again... And your style of writing is familiar to me as well... Hmmmm.
