OK...sorry for the TMI question but I have to ask
Has anyone ever had the runs during the first trimester (see I told you that it was a TMI question  ) I ask because ever since I got my BFP I have been feeling like I have to run to the bathroom and yesterday I have been...only like 3 times but thats enough  I started eating binding foods like bananas and rice and drinking ginger ale. Is this normal? I had this with DS but not until 13 weeks. I see my OB on Tuesday but I was just curious if this is common. TIA!

i don't know if it's common - i think the OTHER way is (constipation) - but you could have some form of the stomach virus that's going around....maybe????
i had it very bad, was in the ER for it - but Dave only had bathroom issues in his version of it (the SOB!!!!)!

I am either constipated or have the runs......... I am 34 weeks now and I've been like this since I got PG.
I do remember in the begining though that I had the runs A LOT.......
It's all caused by hormones

I had the runs my whole pregancy .. just make sure you stay hydrated and mention it to your OB the next time you go !
ETA: If it is frequent I would give a call to your doc

Thanks...I dont necessarily feel like I have a stomach virus. I have absolutely no stomach pains. I will mention it to my doc.

i only had the runs bceause i was soooo nervous my first week now im constipated.  try bananas and rice.

I've had the runs on and off for the entire 11 weeks i've been pregnant. My mom said that she had the same thing when she was pregnant. Guess this is our morning sickness

i had it both ways when i was earlier in my first trimester- it seemed to taper out by the end of it though.

YES!! I did with my first - I lost a ton of weight before I ever even saw the dr and I didn't throw up once  I don't know that it's necessarily normal but I wouldn't say it's abnormal either.

When I was pregnant, I only had the runs, the whole pregnancy. It was horrible.

Had them in the first trimester (I have IBS to begin with), and they're back with a vengence now in my last trimester. YAY!
