olive green poop....gross, i know
OK so DS is EBF. we started cereal a few weeks ago, just made the switch to oatemeal...and now DS's stools are an olive green.. They are normal consistency but just that color- is this something anyone else has experienced? I am using formula with the cereal, otherwise he is EBF. I was thinking it was maybe the iron in the cereal and formula?

Maybe it is the oatmeal - DS has been getting oatmeal in his bottle for about 3 months and that color describes it perfectly

I think it is definitely the iron. DS has always had green poop - ranging from olive to like a dark evergreen color. Lovely. My other DS is sometimes yellow, sometimes green.

Were you EBF & your DS had green poop? I am EBF and my DS has had green poop the last 2 days but not every diaper is green. Most are yellowish and maybe 2 are green. I'm not sure if I should call the doctor.
