my sister teaches high school in VA - she said alot of HS alumni go there, as does her current students siblings. she said they are going crazy. its so sad.

This is terrible. I went to college in Roanoke which is 30 min from VA Tech, so we often went there and partied. I can't imagine how all the families are feeling right now 
Me too, we'd go down there fairly often for parties/sporting events. So sad, I just read that the death toll went up to 31.

Really crazy. I feel horrible for all the families and students there.
I work at a college and a lot of the students are worried that it could happen here too.

My friends brother is okay... he was in the building next door. My other friend has a friend of the family who was in class in the building that morning and is unaccounted for :(
Please pray for him.

I am watching CNN now, the number killed is now 31 and 29 injured. This is unbelievable. I know they say the gunman is dead, but any idea who the gunman was? This is beyond words, so sad & tragic. My prayers to the families & entire community. It is absolutely devastating.
They're saying he didn't carry ID with him so they don't have a name.

Fortunatly he slept through class... but there are several kids from his class that were injured... My friends younger siblings have a lot of friends there... it's so scary. For all.
