OMG - So strange...mortgage company at the door!
DH is off today and he's home. Someone from Indymac bank just came to our door to verify we are still living there! How wierd is that? I was a couple days late paying the mortgage but I paid it today and we called them and told them. Then someone is at our door??? The guy told DH that he has a stack of papers of people he has to go to today to confirm their residency.???

Mortgage companies are allowed to do spot inspections occasionally. I wonder if it even had anything to do with your payment history. Probably just a weird coincidence.
