OMG I have a crazy kid!
What an evening we've had. DD is 2 years and 3 months.
At dinner she ate everything that was in my salad lettuce, olives, red onions, everything. I feel so lucky because she is not a picky eater and will eat almost anything (except peas). I was stunned by how much she likes olives and raw onions. I shouldn't be surprised I guess. This is the kid that likes to chew on lemon slices.
After dinner we were reading some books about Christmas and she argued quite adamantly that reindeer can't fly, even pointing out that they have fur not feathers. I resorted to "Santa has magic reindeer" and she rolled her eyes at me.
She is getting over a sinus infection and today had almost no congestion/draining. We decided to skip the saline spray before bed because she seemed clear. She asked for the "nose spray" and then thanked DH after he did it and said "That was a good spray". She's actually learned to like it, it makes her laugh.
How did I get so lucky? I almost want to stop TTC as I'm afraid about what we'd be in for if we have another. DH keeps saying the other shoe has to drop sometime.
