OMG!!! I just deleted all of the music off my ipod!!!
We just got a new computer and I was uploading my ipod to the new computer and I hit the "restore" buttong thinking that it was something else and I deleted all of my pics!!!!  I don't have the computer that had all of my songs b/c it blew up! Is there any way for me to get my music back?

If you purchased them then you should be able to restore them when you sign on but if you put songs on itunes from a cd you will have to redo that.

if you didnt buy it from itunes you are out of luck.... especially if you dont have the computer that you downloaded the music from, whenever you plug the ipod into itunes it updates the ipod, if you were using itunes on a new computer the music SHOULD still bein your itunes library otherwise it would have been wiped clean before this. Look in you itunes library and see if amy music is there. if it is just add it all to your ipod when it's plugged in. If not... i'm sorry to say it may be all lost!!

when you say your old computer blew up, what happened to it. It is very possible to retrieve files from you old machine depending on what happened to it (assuming you still have the old hard drive)

we don't even have it anymore. The hard drive crashed almost a year ago and we were using my laptop until we just got this new computer.

so since your ipod was synced with the laptop, your files should be there unless you have stuff on there from the pc that you never transfered over to your ipod.
you may want to see ipod recovery software (not sure if it exist) for any type of storage, data is not deleted until it is written over. so if you don't write new stuff to your ipod, there is a chance you can recover some files.

How comfortable are you on a PC? and with software?
Your ipod is just a hard drive, you could try using uneraser to recover the files.

Try the free version to see if you can navaigate the software and to see if it works, if it does get the full version for your recovery.
Then go to staples and get a $99 external hard drive for backing up your ipod, pics, documents, etc
