OMG I just saw a wrong way driver!!!!
I was driving westbound on Vets Hwy (in Bohemia, about 1mile east of the airport) when I saw a car make a left hand turn from the left turn lane of southbound Broadway into the westbound Vets Hwy shoulder- he was driving the wrong way in the shoulder.
I thought he was going to turn in somewhere, but at this part of Vets Hwy, there is no where to go!
I was in shock & prayed he didn't cause an accident! I didn't get the plate/make/model b/c I was passing the intersection as it happened!
I'm still in shock!
