OMG my weight gain FINALLY slowed down..woo-hoo!
At my last Dr's appt I had gained 7 lbs in 2 weeks and I got a lecture. Today I found out I gained only 1 lb in the last two weeks THANK GOD. I've done nothing differently, so it just goes to show you that your body is really going to do whatever it needs to do to keep you and your baby healthy. I'm just happy my body finally decided that I can stop being a fat ***!

i hope this happens to me at some point. i haven't even scheduled my next reg. doc appt. because i don't want them to weigh me  and i'm only 20 weeks. Did you still eat ice cream and sweets?

I gained 9 pounds in 3 weeks and got a similar lecture. I hope I'm as lucky as you are.

yep, and i added hot dogs and cheeseburgers to the menu as well 
I always heard that you slow down after 36 weeks, and I am 2 days short of that, so I'm happy to find out it's true (at least for me).

That's what I heard. You slow down and even lose some of the weight at the end.

Well its happened to me also...after gaining 8lbs in 2 wks, the last visit (34 wks) I actually lost a pound (still eating like a madwoman)...

I lost 1 lb at 34 weeks and gained it back at 36 wks.

I'm in the same boat at you. I'm almost 37 weeks and at my last checkup I didn't gain anything after 2 weeks. My doc said it was normal since I've already gained 35 lbs and most of the weight gain towards the end of the pregnancy is water.

That's great! I really believe what you said because I see a fluctuation in my weight month to month even when I don't do anything different - so I know its what my baby needs! You look great though from that pic in your avatar so no need to worry about the weight gain!!
