omg no lipstick on the planes??
ummm how does one live without lip gloss or lipstick for a week???? i understand the lotion and the soda...i am even willing to purchase a trial size toothpaste and 1980's trial size hair gel at the Walgreen's in the French Quarter. BUT my lipstick??????
any suggestions what to do for a week at dh's convention??? do i go to the walgreen's and buy one or have nekkie lips?? Can anyone even suggest a pharmacy lipstick?? 
eta: so my main question is...can anyone reccommend a nice color that i can get at the pharmacy??? i am not beyone going to neiman marcus and getting my color from the counter and mailing it home...but dh would flip out!

Go to the FAB stores in the airport and buy you a nice new one when you arrive and just USE it all up real fast..... Or mail it home???

yeaaa thats not high maintenance to put it in a SASE back to my home
I don't want to end up with an airport store Hooker Red lipstick for a week....that would be worse than the 80's hair gel i will be using from the Walgreens!

Go for the gloss....like I FM'd you , I think Loreal makes the best drugstore glosses IMO. And I have at least 826 types of glosses So I will boldly call myself an expert.

I know how that is! Think about going to Hilton Head Island for Thanksgiving & all the bags make it there with exception to mine & my 3 month old nephews! I hate checking bags but at this point, I think it is the only option! I am not going to purchase all these items in my destinations, ya know?

DH is also very anti checking baggage, and we're traveling tonight, but he knows that if he really needs to bring his shaving cream HIS toothpaste, etc, we have to check luggage. And he was surprisingly very okay with that.

That is what I say...you can take these items on the plane in your CHECKED luggage , just NOT your carry on.
I dont put toiletries in my carry on anyway

update: dh told me to prepare a fedex for myself tonight and he will overnight it tommorrow morning to the hotel
lipstick, hair shtuff, toothpaste, lotion!!
wow, he really came through when i brought up checking a lip gloss or purchasing one there and shipping it home!! wtg dh!!

doesn't matter- you still can't take that on the plane. At my gate, they said that they were still doing random checks and it didn't matter where we bought it.
