OMG November Moms- this is OUR month!!!
Here we are ladies. Did that fly by or what?? I feel lik it was just March 4 when i took the HPT and it came up w. a HUGE BFP.
I can NOT believe it is Nov already

My countdown says 19 days, but DD seems to want to make an early appearance. We will see if she decides to arrive on my birthday Wednesday the 4th!!! We are all so close!

My best friend had her first baby in the early hours of her birthday this past Mondy. It was a fantastic birthday present! Hope you get yours on your birthday too!

ok, here's my update... with only 13 days to go, I went to the dr today for a lovely internal.. I'm not progressing dilation wise, but my cervix is starting to soften. Also the baby is still really high up- which my dr is disappointed about. But- because of my blood clotting disorder I am not permitted to go beyond my due date... SOOOO now I go to my high risk dr tomorrow for my BPP and NST. If my high risk dr says I'm still okay to carry the baby and if I don't go into labor on my own this week (fat chance) come Tuesday, DH & I need to make a decision on how/when to deliver.. either induce or csection  I think my dr is leaning towards a csection because he said if the baby is still really high it isnt worth inducing for 2 days if I'm only going to end up with a csection anyway... I'm totally torn & slightly disappointed. I feel like if I have to be induced or have a csection, I've failed... IDK why.. The dr is concerned that perhaps the cord is too short or the baby wont fit & thats why he/she is still so high...

i was in your shoes last year with DS!!
DS was really high and i had no progress at all as of my due date. and they were measuring him at close to 9 pounds (he was oly 6 pounds 15.8 ounces!!) i was induced successfully but i did have a hard and long labor. i pushed for 5 hours. but it was worth EVERY second!!!
it turns out DS DID have a short cord!!! they're very rare, but that's why it took so long for me to deliver him. he just couldn't come down on his own. i told the doc to use the forceps or vacuum on DS. he used and vacuum and DS was out in a minute and 100% healthy! a CS wasn't even an option with those conditions.
so i want you to not give up hope!! even if DC is still high and the cord IS short, that doesn't mean an induction won't work and you'll need a CS. if you have any questions, please feel free to FM me.
