OMG! the pain of cerclage removal!
so at 37 w, they tried to take out the cerclage at the dr.s office WITH NO DRUGS!! they tried it 2x, the second time with 2 dr.s and nothin...they saw the knot but couldnt take the whole thing out..they had like 2 speculums in me....some blades??....20 billion fingers poking, tugging and streching....i was with DH, and his poor broken hand after me squeezing it the whole time....i was sweating and trying to breath through it, but I was squeamish and tense....so they said they'll try it tomw at the hospital with an epidural...HOPEFULLLY that all works out...sorry to scare some girls...but next time for me, i'm gonna go straight to the hospital....

 That sounds horrific!
I hope tomorrow they can get it out with no problem.
On the flip side, at least the cerclage did its job!!!

dont stress I HIGHLY doubt that they will let u deliver triplets naturally.
I hav a cerclage too and they told me they would just take it out during my c-section when i deliver the twins. Instead of giving me the Epi 3 times. (once to put it in, once to take it out and once to try to deliver me)

Thank you for the information Yeah definitely a scheduled c-section. I didn't know they took it our during such. So glad to know

Anytime sweets! they only take it out in advance if you want to try to deliver naturally. But with 3 its doubtful. Hope u are feeling well

Omg !!! Ok so at the risk of sounding stupid what is that and how did you know u had to have it removed?
It sounded horrible i still need to be told to relax like twenty times when i used to go in for just my annual pap ( sorry to be graphic) lord knows how im gonna have my baby ( thank god for drugs during the delivery) .
I hope tomorrow goes a lot smoother for you

that's what i was thinking that it was bad to epi 3x....hmmmm, did ur doc say it was bad?

cerclage when they stich the cervix during the early 2nd tri...they remove it during the end of 3rd tri...

that's what i was thinking that it was bad to epi 3x....hmmmm, did ur doc say it was bad?
No he didn't say it was bad but he would prefer not to have to do it. I mean they are sticking a needle in ur back.
After I had it the 1st time my back was sore for like 10 days. Just a reaction of my body I guess. So since they are going to do a c-sec anyway there is no point in removing the stitches early.

so they took it out at the hospital, but my doc was like let's try it with no drugs, i was like ummmmmm, OK but if its too much i'm gonna want the epidural....so it took my doc, a resident, a PA and a nurse and who knows what other instruments were in my....but it came out....and it was painful....but at least it meant that I didnt have to stay for so many hours till the drugs wore off....so now its just a waiting game....
