On another note, I traumatized Alex yesterday
I feel horrible - the poor girl isn't going to use the toilet until she's 30, because of ME.
We've been trying to slowly introduce the potty to Alex. So, everytime I'm in the bathroom, I put her on it, but as of yet, she hasn't done anything.
Yesterday I made up a bath for her, and she didn't want to go in, so I went in first to try to convince her to come in with me. She was leaning over the side of the tub, and I saw that she was about to go "potty". So I said, Alex, do you need to go potty? She said yes, so I said, ok, let's put you on your potty then!
So, I got out of the tub, dripping wet, walked over to the potty with Alex, and put her on her potty. She made a poopy in the potty (YAY FOR ALEX!!! )
Problem is, I got SOOOOO excited that I actually scared the living daylights out of her, and then, she slipped in a puddle of water that I left on the floor from getting out of the tub, and smacked her head against the tile floor.
She started crying hysterically and didn't want to go back into the bathroom, or anywhere near the potty, for the rest of the night.
Oy. There goes our potty training, right out the window!!

Yay that she used the potty!!! I'm sure you can lure her back into the bathroom, and once she's "back on the horse" she'll be fine (while I know their memory is great in terms of learning new things at this age, I think as long as you don't make it a big deal they're good at getting over things as well).

Re: On another note, I traumatized Alex yesterday
Something similiar happened to me the other day. Roman was talking a bath and started getting upset because he knew he had to poo poo. I asked him poo poo? He said yeah, so I lifted him out and put him on the toilet except he was wet and slipped hitting his head on the side of the wall by the toilet. He was screaming, I felt horrible. He got it in the tub and on the floor, no toilet
