on average..

how often do you go on vacation? i mean a real, honest to god, trip? we haven't been anywhere since april and we went to niagara falls. our next trip will be our hm...but there are people i work with that are going away every other week it seems.

thoughts?

the first year dh and i were together we went on 11 trips!!

we haven't gone away since last winter when we went skiing.

we soooooooooooo need a vacation...somewhere warm and romantic!!

we didnt go on our first REAL vacation Together until our HM, actually. we've one weekend trips and that sort of stuff, but we either had time but no money, money but no time,,, and then there was the whole wedding thing- which left us with no time Or money. since then, we've made up for it though

we had our HM (7 day carribean cruise) in Feb, went to Disney for a week in August/sept, and we're doing a 10 day cruise in January.... And hopefully Italy next October, but we'll figure that out later

We used to take quite a few a year before we were married, nowadays, I'd have to say we take about two big trips a year and maybe 2 more mini trips. I wish we could travel every week!!

We go on a major vacation every year. Our first year of dating we went on a cruise to Bermuda. The year after that we went to the Poconos (it was a mini vacation, we were engaged and had to save money)

Then we went to Disney World for our honeymoon for 10 days.

1 year anniversary we went to Vegas
2 year anniversary was New Orleans (another mini because we just put a down payment down on a co-op)

April we went to California and this past July we did a mini vacation to Vegas again.

Next March we are going to Italy!!!!

At least one a year....

Two years ago was Key West and New Orleans

Last year was Hawaii

and in April we were in Jamaica and in two weeks we will be in Florida.

We vacation quite a bit...we go on a week long vacation in Sept for our anniversary, a 5 day trip in the spring and a long weekend with one or two other couples.

I used to go once a year. Since the whole wedding planning/getting married/having a baby thing we haven't had one real vacation besides our HM. Looking forward to one in July possiby!

Before we moved to Ireland, we would go away 2x a year. While in Ireland we wanted to take advantage of living in Europe and went away each month. Now, that we are home with a baby, I think we will be lucky if we go away once a year. Lucky for us the first 3 years we were together we hit 15 countries, Vegas, Maine and Grenada. I am going to miss all that travelling.

We've only been on one (our hm). I don't know when we'll go on another. Probably not until summer 2007 (maybe).

We're going to a fam reunion in tenn. next summer, but i don't think that counts

well up until my HM none! Not a real long trip. We are going on a cruise this year but i suspect that will be our last big trip for a while

We have gone on two nice vacations a year- over Christmas and over the summer. But I doubt we'll do anything this year over X-mas, unless we are able to find a good last minute deal. But I can't complain- we've taken some great trips in the 2 and half years we've been together.

We usually go away twice a year on big trips and we do 2-3 weekends away a year (usually driving trips). Since we have been together we have been to Vegas (more then once), California, Cayman Brac, Aruba, Florida. Usually one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

For driving trips we usually do Boston, Upstate New York, East End of LI, Virginia Beach, or Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun/AC.

We like to go away a lot.

We take one big vaca each year. We have a place in Cabo San Lucas so we go in October for 10 days. We have a place in the Poconos so we go as often as our schedule allows for the weekends. Then for our anniversary this year we went upstate for a weekend and stayed at a B&B. October 2006 is Cabo again w/ family, and then 2007 I hope to go somewhere else--need a much needed change of scenery!!!

We were going aways 3-4 times a year for the last 4 years. We were going to go away skiing again this winter, but put a hold on it. I think we are just going to go local.

It is getting harder and harder justifying the amount spent in 1 weeks time.

I love going away, but there is other things I would rather do with our money right now.

My sister and her friends are renting a house in Ireland for a few weeks. And my brother is partial owner to a house in Spain. We might start doing things like that. But we really arent museum type or landmark people. We like drinking and beaches.

My sisters said that Leo and I are worse then Eurotrash.

Our first big trip was our HM to Mexico. Weve gone to FL to visit his parents several times (which Id hardly call a vacation! ) and weve been to the Poconos, B&B upstate and other little weekend trips. Nothing big because we cannot afford it.
For our year anniversary we are going to LA and Vegas.....after that I would imagine we wont go anywhere for a long time.....I want to go to Italy so bad!

We used to go on a big trip every August. Now that the baby is here, we skipped our August trip and will go away next year in October.

We go away on at least 2 week long trips a year. Usually one in late winter and one in early fall. Over the summer we take about 2 or 3 weekend trips as well.

This year we went on a cruise in January, we went to mystic, altantic city for the weekends and we just came back from vegas last week.

With the exception of the year before our wedding, we go away (on average) once a year.

In addition to that, we'll take weekend getaway's...and visit our sister's in GA a few times a year.
