On average, how much do you lose per week?
I lost 6 pounds so far in 6 weeks...so 1 lb a week.

1-2 lbs per week.
My doctor, my nutritionist and my gym all say that's a healthy amount. Any more than that is actually not always a good thing. Just think. 1lbs a week for a year is 52 lbs!

I know, but i have a wedding to go to in May, and I want a new dress! I want to bump it up to 2 lbs per week, and that would be perfect.

I just started my diet last week and I lost 3 lbs last week and 2 so far this week. I just think that it is because I changed my diet drastically! I know in about a week or 2 I will probably only lose 1 lb a week and I will still be happy with that. Any loss is better than a gain.
Have you incorporated exercise into your diet?

I usually lose 1 lb. per week. Since January 2 I've lost 10 pounds.

There may be a way toa ccelerate your loss with mela replacements, or keep losing 1lb per week but lose more inches with strength training
