Once you choose your cord blood company...
how long does it take to get the kit in the mail??
wondering how much time I have to seal the deal. I am waiting on some feedback from someone.

I think it was next-day delivery. I then had to fill out a form and fax it back to them.

Since the company I chose (CBR) was the preferred Cord Blood Bank by my OB, they actually had some kits in the office. I know that doesn't help!

 Actually, I think CBR did tell me if my office didn't have it, they overnighted the kit.

Yes from my conversation last night with the rep they will overnite the kit, or if you happen to forget yours on way to hospital there is an emergency pager number that you can call and they will get you a kit.

I got the paper work the following week, then the kit they sent to me the end of Nov b/c baby is due in feb.
eta: this is viacord.
eta:#2.. thanks for reminding me.. I have to put this in my Hospital bag.. i forgot.

I made the decision the day before thanksgiving and the kits came that saturday.
They told me at the hospital that they have kits there if you don't have yours - since I was concerned I was going to be delivered that night and we didn't have the kits with us!
