one bright red cheek?
DS has had one super bright red cheek for the past 3 days.
It doesn't seem to bother him.
Any ideas what this could be?

Sometimes DD gets this when she sleeps on that cheek more, with the drool getting rubbed on it. I always put aquaphor and its gone within a day.

Maybe wind burn ????...Does it have the lacy appearance of a "slapped cheek" ? Roseola looks like a slapped cheek, but I always thought that it appeared on both sides...

Allergic to something? Did you try a new food? Emma is allergic to bananas and one cheek gets really red and lasts a couple of days.
I actually thought it was wind burn, etc. from the cold last winter when she had the redness, and I fed her a ton of bananas since she was just starting solids back then. It wasn't until this Summer that I realized it was from bananas

also a possibility. we started apples the same day I noticed it.
I'll change to something else tomorrow and see if it's still there.

I went to pick up Athan last night and noticed one cute little red cheek and red on the tip of his nose. My mom took him out in his stroller and he got a little windburn
