"One Day" based on the Ann Hathaway movie

The movie looks awesome. Has annyone read the book? Is it good?

I can't wait for the movie!

I liked the novel, but didn't love it. The story-telling technique of checking in with them every July 15 is a great concept and it works really well. However, I just didn't find the two main characters likable, but enjoyed where their paths took them.

I'm glad I read it and recomend it. It may be one of those rare cases where the movie is actually better than the book!

I agree about the book. It was cute, but there were points where I didn't really like either one of the main characters.

I'm hoping the movie is good, but her accent isn't very believable. She looks how I pictured Emma, he's not so much how I pictured Dex but he feels like him in the clips they've released. Collider put them all together if you want to see them.

I liked the book......I actually liked the format of how it took a glimpse of where they were the same date every year.

Now that they are showing previews, I cant wait to see the movie now.

I just finished it. I had no idea they were making a movie until I was halfway through and saw the movie clips! I liked the book...it wasn't my all-time favorite, but it was a good read!

I really want to see the movie though.

I read it last spring and really enjoyed it. I won't be seeing the movie- I don't really care for the actors.

I liked the book, didn't love it. I read a review of the movie on ew.com and it was reviewed by the same person who reviewed the book. They gave it a really bad review (the movie). I'll probably just netflix it.

i thought the book s*cked

didnt like the charachters, couldnt relate to them AT ALL

dex's life is so all over the place..emmas was so lame ...until later on..poor girl couldnt catch a break -

and the ending was awful
