Talia LOVES cheese - but I worry that I may be giving her too much of it. How much is too much? what if it is the only thing she will eat that meal (even if I give her other options first).

I'm not sure how much is too much.....but it seems dairy constipates Aly.

Is that normal? does it go away?

i think cheese is a binder. As long as it's all working well in that area I dont see how you can have too much. Yes, it has fat in it but it also is a great source of calcium

Re: one more question tonight....cheese...

When we saw a pediatric nutritionist she gave us a chart showing the amounts of each food group they are supposed to be getting, and for dairy, it's 3-4 servings a day (mind you, a glass of milk is one serving). She warned us that too much dairy can be harmful, so try to stay within those guidelines...

I just read that also on a website also. I think we are eating too much cheese too.
