One of the feral cats that always comes to my house
has the most adorable kitten with her
My DH told me to stay inside. We already have a cat who hates all other animals but sooooooooooooooo cute.
Anyone want to rescue an adorable little black and white kitty?

Are you leaving food out for her? Even if you can't take her in, I hope you can help her and her baby out!

Finding a home for the kitten is easy. Please find a trapper in your area and spay the mother. She needs you to help her. You have a cat so imagine how you would feel if she were out there lost and not spayed..terrible. Where do you live? I hope you are giving her food and water, poor thing.

Re: One of the feral cats that always comes to my house
The woman up the block comes and feeds them 2x a day on the field. I will not leave food out on my property. The cats have crapped all over my daughters toys, sand box, swingset, dug up my garden and possibly have eaten my fish from my fish pond. So we don't want to encourage them to come on my property though I think she had them under a pile of landscaping rocks by my fence.
I will look into a trapper and doing that at some point Reggie has given me great information but the colony is large and I am waiting for my neighbor watch meeting to see if I can get my neighbor's involved to help, since I am allergic to cats except for mine (well as long as I don't touch my face) and have an infant an preschool and very little time.
But if anyone one wants to come and try to trap them I will be more than happy to show you where she feeds them.

Re: One of the feral cats that always comes to my house
You can borrow traps and set them and ask another neighbor to transport. The cats are always going to be in your backyard, same with us so we put a kitty litter box in the back and they now use it..no more crap on lawn. I am allergic to cats also but it did not stop me from getting involved to stop the population from spreading. I did not take them into my home. I trapped them, kept them in my garage and my neighbor transported, we pooled our money and gave the trapper $230.

The responsible thing would be to trap her. I know that you have small children and not a lot of time--but it's better to be part of the solution than part of the problem. I'm not trying to preach at all--but we just took in a pregnant stray that had 7 kittens. It was not in our plans at all, and it's at the least inconvenient, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, knowing she was out there with her babies.
Good luck--I hope you will do the right thing.
ETA: By the way, I'm also off-the-charts allergic to cats!
