One of the Pregnancy ladies needs your prayers.....
PreshusSmurf has been on bedrest for some time due to shortening cervix. Even though she's followed her OBs orders, it appears those baby boys are pushing for an early arrival. Even with the cerclage she's at 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. Needless to say, she's scared and in need of positive thoughts and prayers.
She's currently in the hospital getting magnesium sulfate and has gotten steroid shots for the little Smurf's lungs. They're only 25 weeks, so it's still way early. I can't imagine how helpless and scared she must be.
I truly DO believe in the power of prayer and I know the LIF ladies, as much as we bicker and argue, can band together and make good things happen. So please, let's make like Whos down in Who-ville and make a big fuss that those babies stay put and stay healthy.
Jess...... we don't *know* each other- but for real, I'm praying like crazy that those baby boys cook for a few (or 10) weeks longer.
OK ladies...... Care Bear stare at Jess's cervix.
ETA: NO POSTS on her Facebook please. No need to get her extended family in an uproar.

Sending many prayers that the lil Smurfs stay put for a long time. Positive thoughts your way, if the little ones decide to make an early appearance, they will be fighters. My friends baby boy was born at 24 weeks and after a few weeks in Nicu, is now home safe and healthy with his mom and dad
