One of those days....Why do I always feel like a bad mommy with every new milestone?
Ever since Kailey turned 1 her naps have been a struggle and so have meals.
She either eats crackers or plays with what I try to give her
I am trying to wean her and she doesn't seem to intersted in the cup. If I am lucky she drinks 2 or 3 oz from it throughout the day. I feel like I am going to be forever BFing her!
Today she wouldn't go down for any naps; I spilt milk all over the floor; and just after her bath she spit out her milk all over her clean PJs.
It's days like today that I feel like don't know how to be a mommy!
If it wasn't for her hugs and kisses I don't think I would have made it through today!!!
Thanks for the vent!!

Sorry you had a bad day---I agree though, new milestones/transitions are always a challenge and send us into uncharted territory as first time moms! We are also dealing with nap issues and while DS will drink from a cup, he dislikes milk---so we haven't totally weaned yet either and I am ready!! I hope tomorrow is a better day!!!!!

Re: One of those days....Why do I always feel like a bad mommy with every new milestone?
I seem to feel like this the mornings I am trying to get him and me out of the house.
He hates being changed, I mean HATES it. There are some days it takes me over 1/2 to change him and get clean clothes on him.
I am always in awe of my friend Janel, she has 2 and is always on time and she and her kids are always dressed so cute, while I am trying to get Gavin's socks back on.

First of all, .
Secondly, all of these things ARE being a mommy. I think every mom on earth has these things happen to her every day...messes and things going wrong. It's all part of the fun.
You're doing a great job.
