One thing that slightly annoys me and I don't know if its just me...
But when my friends/family refer to their childrens ages, why does they always have to put it in months? Like, my niece is 24 months...hello, its 2 years? I met someone who referred to her child as "I have a 31 month old at home..." I was like,  I think once you hit the 1 year mark, you can start referring to them as a 1 year old, 1 1/2 year old, etc. I'm sure its a personal preference and I'm sure most parents don't even realize they say it like that, but sometimes it drives me nuts!
My furbabies are 28 months and 16 months, respectively

Soft names make soft people. I'll bet you ten times out of ten, Nicky, Vinnie, and Tony would beat the **** out of Todd, Kyle, and Tucker

Yes it's totally annoying I agree with you. Most likely it's because that's how doctors reference kids I believe. But then again what the fcuk do i know

I am trying to figure out how many months I am but have had too much wine to do so

I asked someone this once cause I was like wth can't they just say they're 2 - she told me that there is a signifigant difference in development at 12 months vs. 15 months vs. 20 months and so on....

did anyone see the commercial for that new movie coming out with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Selma Hayek, Chris Rock, etc and the kid comes over and she says he is "48 months" and then breastfeeds him....lol its meant to be a joke and everyone looks at her and one of them says "isn't that FOUR?!?!?!!?!"

I don't have children but I do this primarily b/c I work in early intervention.
There is a big difference in a child who is 24 months and a child who is 32 months, both being two year olds

and to that i would say.. yeah there is a difference! one is 2 and the other is 2 1/2 !!! LOL sorry had to!

I'm 356 mos....
And this makes me insane too and I'm constantly dividing by 12 in my head. And math is not my forte...
ETA: I used a calculator to figure out how many months old I am.
