Online Savings Accounts
I've been using ING Direct for years, their current interest rate is just over 1 percent  and I know my money could be earning money somewhere else! Any advice on where else to put money through an online savings account?

I know Sallie Mae, Capital One, and AMEX all currently have about 1.3%-1.4%. Those are the best I've seen recently.

these days im not sure how much better you will do. the interest rates suck for savings.
we had ING years ago when it was bet 4-5%.
we have our bulk savings in a money market with Wachovia and its not earning much more than 1%.

Yeah, I haven't really seen anything that great either. Years ago my brother used Emigrant Direct and was getting like 7% interest. Amazing, but by the time I joined it was 4 then worked its way down to 1% too.

Discover online pays around 1.35%. I switched last year once I saw ING rates drop under 3%.
