ING accounts. What other options online are there?
I'm so stupid when it comes to this stuff. Since we're looking for a house and all our money is making no interest in our credit union account, I'd like to put it somewhere we can actually acrue some interest on it since this search is looking like it's going to be a long one. Anyone care to suggest anything besides ING? I'm not opposed to ING, just curious what my other options are.

HSBC has a good online savings now that has a 5.05% interest rate. I have other accts with them already so it's easy for me to transer automatically.

Citibank has an e-savings account that gives 5% interest but you have to have a Citibank checking account.
The good (or bad!) part is that the transfer is just about instantaneous so there's no waiting around for the funds to transfer like an ING account.

You can put the $ into a CD - the interest is usually a little higher, but there are restrictions on taking it out - some are 1 year, some 3 year, etc. We have some money saved away for a rainy day in a CD, but also have a checking and Money Market Account through our bank. The Money Market Account has a higher interest rate than the savings account.
I'd call your bank and ask about your options, or look online.
